ADM Office Space
To Be Completed Soon

For many months, Adventist Deaf Ministries (ADM) has operated out of a crowded home-office. However, as the volume of work has continued to increase, the need for more working space increased. Unfortunately, finding satisfactory office space in the area proved to be fruitless as it was either too expensive (due to being located in retail store buildings) or else the space was in very poor condition.

Several months ago our home church, the Apache Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church (AJSDA), decided on a building expansion for extra Sabbath School classrooms and space for the Pathfinders. Shortly after that decision, AJSDA learned about the needs of the deaf ministry and that we were working in a home-office.

But have you ever heard of a hearing church that decided to postpone their own expansion in order to give priority to the needs of the deaf ministry? Well, if you have never heard of a church like that, then you have not visited the Apache Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church (located approximately 35 miles east of downtown Phoenix, Arizona).

Well, AJSDA decided to add a building that will have space for both a deaf Sabbath School room and office space for ADM. To do that, AJSDA decided to postpone their main building expansion project in order to focus on first completing office for ADM. We believe that God blessed them for that decision, since they have been able to include some of their planned expansion while focusing on the deaf ministry buidling.

Volunteers from AJSDA have doing most of the work on the building. And not only that, there have even been some volunteers from the Mormon church next door who have helped with parts of the work. The work continues to move forward on ADM’s office space, which we will be renting from AJSD so that we no longer will have to work out of our crowded home.

We are hoping to be able to move into our office space in the very near future. We are thankful to AJSDA for making it possible for us to have office space that will be far less crowded than what we have been working in for the past three years.
