Healthy Baby Boy Born to Chip and Esther Doss!
Ethan Matthew Doss born October 9, 2008 at 4:02pm
He was 6 pounds and 13.3 ounces.
Ethan and his parents Chip and Esther Doss are happy and healthy and live in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Wanda Watson is proudly holding her grandson. Wanda is Esther's Deaf mother.

MidWest Deaf Camp Meeting 2008
Lavida Whitson serves as the Arkansas-Lousiana Conference Adventist Community Services Director. She gave an excellent seminar on how to be prepared for a disaster. She showed us backpacks with emergency items like flashlights, batteries, emergency blankets, food, water, etc.
Chuck McGehee from Washington state encourages everyone to be "cheerleaders" for Jesus and His truth.
Francisca Trexler gives an early morning devotional at a beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful view each morning.
Group in front of Blanchard Springs after a trip through Blanchard Springs Caverns. The spring is actually a creek in the cave and it comes out here. All enjoyed seeing nature under the ground.

After a tornado tore 123 miles through Arkansas and through Wanda Watson's neighborhood
on February 5, 2008.
Wanda's van was hit by lightening and caught on fire.
Some of the damage at Wanda Watson's house. Many trees are also down, but none fell on the house. Wanda was home at the time and only had a cut on her foot. She knows God was with her and protected her.
Wanda's daughter Esther Doss and her husband Chip had lived 1/2 mile from Wanda. They sold their home 1 1/2 year before the tornado hit. Their former home is completely destroyed. You can see the former foundation near the bottom of the photo. A big metal building was also wiped out. No one was home.
Bill and Lavida Whitson and Winford Taylor came to Wanda's church the following Sabbath. Wanda, Kathy McCain, and Esther Doss are members at this church. Lavida is the Adventist Community Services Coordinator for the Ark-La Conference.

Healthy Boy Born to Nigel and Ruby Persaud
Jake O'Neil Persaud born October 18, 2007 at 11:06pm
He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces.
Both Jake and Ruby are doing very well.
Nigel, Ruby, Jason, and Jake live in the Toronto, Canada area.
